this is when I REALLY wish I had a cat...
Today I found out there's something I hate worse than large spiders.
I was cleaning off my desk this afternoon and moved some papers and all of a sudden the top of my desk was crawling with teeny little baby spiders. Apparently a mama spider got in under my papers sometime in the last couple of months, and I disturbed the family. I cleared up the end of the Mama (who was fairly large) ended up under the lip at the top edge of my desk. By the time I had persuaded myself to come out of the bathroom and do something (involving the vacuum cleaner) about her, she had disappeared, but I know she's still here somewhere, and so are a lot of her offspring. I took myself off to the movies in something of a hurry after that.
*shudder*
