Friday the 13th falls on a Friday this month!
(This is a family joke brought about by the fact that my entire family reads a 1950's comic strip called Pogo, in which there's a character who has fits every Friday the 13th, whether it actually falls on a Friday in the given month or not. It fell on a Tuesday last month.)
But, it's Friday, and I'm tired and working on a stomachache, and the same guy who yelled at me eleven times last week for the same computer error is trying to yell at me for it some more, and I'm not going to let him. He's the only student it happened to, or if he isn't, he's the only one trying to make me deal with it.
But it's Friday, and I order my new computer in 7 days, and life is, for all intents and purposes, good. And the reason I'm tired today is because I went to see DaVinci's Notebook last night, and it was exactly what I needed, even though I didn't know it until the first verse of the first song. By the end of the song I was grinning from ear to ear and felt better than I've felt since I got back from vacation.
It would be naptime if I wasn't so busy building up defenses against the next time this one student decides to try to yell at me.
