Friday, or so the calendar says

I've got definition and context in both languages for all the glossary entries from A to F. I left off after "ganglions de base" because I was playing with pictures. I'm still arguing with the cross-references, which annoys me. I have yet to figure out why it will put cross-references in some entries and not in the same field in others. Maybe it only works if I do it by accident; that worked once...

Anyway, in celebration of the cubic blortload of work I got through this week, I think I ought to do something for myself tonight. I'm not sure what, though. (Send my resume to Lionbridge in Waltham, maybe. They seem to be looking for French localizers. I can do that.) What I really want is for somebody else to do the cooking for a while, I think.

Apparently I'm going to run out of money again in April. I really didn't want to have to borrow any more, but there's no way in hell I can live on $1100 until June and then get myself out of here.

It's snowing again. You'd think it would be tired of snowing by now, wouldn't you? I'm certainly tired of it snowing. Ignoring the fact that I can't afford it now and couldn't then either, I really should have booked a flight to the Bahamas in December. It would be nice to spend a week in a place where the low temperature is consistently above freezing. However, my advisor wants me to do some editing over break since I'm going to be here, and if I don't clean this place that week, it won't get done before May. "Vacation week" in grad school merely means you don't work on campus.

Some day I will get to go somewhere warm on vacation when I want to.

I think maybe I'll go grocery shopping, since I don't particularly want to have a grilled cheese sandwich for dinner again, and that's about all there is to eat around here.
