it's too hot for interview clothes, says I
Il fait chaud comme diable! (Or if you prefer, DAMN, it's hot!) Discretion being the better part of not getting heatstroke, I wore a different (lighter) interview outfit today. Unfortunately I have two jackets, one of which is black and the other of which is wool, so I'm sort of stuck if I have to wear a jacket in weather like this. I don't know why I bothered with makeup, since I sweated it off in fairly short order.
I think the interview went well. After I was done, since it was 11:45 and I was downtown anyway, I went wandering around a little and bumped into an acquaintance from the dental school. She said I should apply for work at the medical school or the nutrition school. I'm of two minds about that.
If I could afford it, I would go back to the Eddie Bauer outlet and buy some new shirts. They actually have summer shirts I like in colors I like.
I'm hoping for a call from the temp agency soon and thunderstorms tonight. Here's hoping at least one of those things happens.
