Let's see, Mach 18 (eighteen times the speed of sound, even if our webmaster insists that isn't possible) at how friggin' high in the air?

Let me be blunt, if the terrorists had the technology to intercept the Space Shuttle under those conditions, then DC would have been a smoldering ruin years ago.

Anyone else see the pic where CNN claimed the Shuttle was going 18 times the speed of light?
