When I have enough time off to do it, I like to alternate days of being a slug with days of being useful. Today's a useful day, so I have:

- finally put things in the safe deposit box I got last year
- deposited my Xmas check from my grandparents
- cleaned out the fridge (it's trash day, besides)
- paid bills
- bought semi-ceremonial paper
- investigated buying a paper shredder
- bought milk

Now to go put the bills in the mailbox on the corner, and buy eggs. And reorganize the pantry. And wash the door curtains. And...
