a banner sort of day
Today was quite possibly the best day I've had since my birthday in July. It was awesome, and silly, and awesome some more. The major high points are as follows:
- Actually bought tickets for India ($1083 round trip, which is as low as I've seen since I started looking this spring.)
- Saw Steeleye Span in concert, preceded by dinner, and enjoyed the heck out of both.
- Sat around in Harvard Square for an hour and a half, absorbing sunshine and sort of working on writing.
- Made tentative plans involving a very unofficial holiday in October. (As far as I know, I'm one of two people who notices, not to say observes, the Festival Week of Sts. Ghislain and Edwige.)

If you're going to buy Babylon, don't buy the entire album; half of it is terrible. Fortunately the other half makes up for it. Unfortunately the good half is the half in the middle.
Semi-regular plans sound like an idea. Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays are good so far, but subject to change if the Great Workload Shift ever shifts any further.
