Less grumpy today, thank goodness, but still sick. I need more sleep. For some reason, going to bed early isn't working; I seem to want to sleep late rather than fall asleep early. Maybe I really should take a sick day, and sleep.
It's nice that Thanksgiving is at the end of November, because I'm going to be living on instant ramen and bananas until then so as to afford all the money I've spent in the last couple of weeks. (I wonder how many bananas I'd have to eat to get enough potassium to balance out the sodium in instant ramen?) At least I'm spending money on expensive things I want to do, rather than expensive things I have to do.
Speaking of which, as soon as I have money again, the Hairy Beasts MUST go to the vet for shots. Lily was supposed to go in June, and Snip was supposed to go in September. I suppose it won't be the worst thing in the world if they both go together in November. (So, they are now going in November.)
