There oughta be a law against Mondays.
There REALLY oughta be a law against cold, cloudy, icy-sidewalk Mondays that start getting dark at 4:00.
There is in fact a law against icy sidewalks, but that doesn't appear to stop people from leaving them that way.
I'm gonna write me a law against people who don't read the emails I send them, and then call me and read me the riot act based on what they thought I wrote. (I know you believe you understand what you think I said, but I am not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.)
