today is made of win
I don't think it's exactly schadenfreude, but I'm watching my coworker cope with SOP mailing week and have some of the exact same problems I had with it, and feeling relieved that I wasn't the reason for the problems.
I, on the other hand, have been kicking ass and taking names all over the CAD database today. Some of it still looks like a dog's breakfast, but I have obviated six different Word documents with one database, and that makes me happy. (And the coworker from whom I inherited the CAD meeting is jealous.)
And the weather apparently got warm enough to melt ice, so hopefully the stuff I couldn't get off the front steps last night has now let go. I persuaded all the loose ice to let go last night, but some of it wasn't even pretending to be loose.
