While really hard rain is nice to listen to at night, and nifty to watch in the daytime, I really wish we were having wind without rain. Moving air is a novelty after the last week of high 90s and humid, and I'm enjoying the heck out of the wind. But I had to shut all the windows it was blowing into, because it was blowing a flood into them too.

The Hairy Beasts have cooled off enough to be interested in beating up on their toys and hanging around with me, which is nice too.
