Last night I sent Trader Joe's a mildly nasty letter. When I went shopping on Saturday I noticed they had changed the shape of the sour cream containers, but thought it was a case of "we're already putting cottage cheese in these, let's standardize things". It wasn't. They also changed the contents of the sour cream containers. Their three-ingredient sour cream is now ten-ingredient milk and glue. Of course, I didn't find that out until I observed that the new sour cream tasted funny. So I wrote them a letter pointing out that milk and glue is not sour cream, and I will not be buying any more of it. I don't expect them to do anything about it, but I wanted to let them know that somebody noticed.
