Three days before NEFFA is not the best time in the world to acquire a burst blister on the sole of one's foot. (That's what I got for walking home from work in shoes I hadn't worn since last fall. I stayed too late at work to catch the usual bus, and would have had to wait 45 minutes for the next one.) I can't dance even without a sore foot, but right now walking also hurts.

Oh well, at least my cat still likes me, even though she's not sure about the "no more wet food" thing. I stopped giving her wet food because even though she doesn't get much, she wasn't eating most of what she did get. Apparently she likes to have the option anyway.
