Apparently I want to rant today. I've deleted three versions of this post already because they've all ended up as a rant.

However, good stuff:

- The writer's block I've had for eight months finally went away last week.
- Since I bought cat food yesterday, my household is provisioned enough to spend the weekend snowed in if it wants to.
- I've decided to spend 10 days in northern India in April 2010, to which end I've reworked my budget and started messing around with maps.

Where: still working on that. The current plan, subject to change without notice, is Delhi-Amritsar-Shimla-Agra-Delhi.

Why: because I've read a lot of Kipling, and because my ex-boss is in India and offered to plan a trip for me if I ever wanted to go there.
