yin and yang

Any time this week would like to be over is fine with me. I've been having anxiety dreams about work, for no reason. And it's snowing, AGAIN, and I'm sick of snow. And I had my brain all set for sausage and spinach pie for dinner and forgot it has ricotta in it, so didn't buy any, so no sausage pie until tomorrow. And my shoulders hurt for no good reason whatsoever. And it's only Tuesday. And I have to get up early tomorrow to shovel snow before I go to work.

BUT,

I paid bills on Saturday and came up with a lot more money left over than usual, because January was a three-paycheck month. And I mailed off my taxes last Thursday, and am expecting a sizable refund from both. And my cats still like me. And I haven't caught the latest round of Insidious Grue. And I've decided which week in April I'm going to take as vacation, so I can ask for it tomorrow. And it can't be winter forever.

Sorry for inflicting wanting sausage pie on you.

If the money is still there at the end of February, take it and put it into a savings account separate from your regular account. Save it up for that trip you want to take to India.

It won't be there at the end of February, because it's going to the credit card bill. Last September was a very expensive month. But I did start the India fund already.

Would you care to share the recipe for sausage and spinach pie? Unless it's just quiche with sausage and spinach in it, it sounds intriguing. :) (And if it is just quiche, it sounds no less intriguing, but it means I can probably find a recipe w/out problems using Google. :)

The recipe I had has disappeared, and I haven't made this in years, but I think I remember how it goes. If it comes out right, I'll write down what I did and send you that.

(It isn't quiche. It's more like lasagna filling, but not quite.)
