sebastian_tombs asked me about five of my icons, so behind the cut are the explanations.



: This is the first icon I ever had, of the first tattoo I ever got. It's Japanese for "power", and it's on the back of my neck.

: This is the first time I ever tried to get all dramatic and create Art via photography. It's a picture of my legs and the shadows from the bedroom shutters in Roxbury. (I suspect I failed at Art, but I like the picture.)

: This is a second attempt at Art. It's a chive flower, and in the larger version there's a visible dewdrop caught in it.

: This is the aftermath of what happens when Snip is asleep on one end of the futon, and Lily comes and tries to occupy the same space at the same time. What happens is Snip wakes up, wrestles Lily into the right position to wash her ears, washes Lily's ears while Lily washes Snip's, and then they both go back to sleep. It's very cute, but this is the only time I've seen Snip using Lily as a teddy bear.

: This was pre-Arisia rubber ducky scavenger hunt one year. What else does one do with a couple hundred rubber duckies but get buried in them? This is also my Facebook icon, because it's recognizably me even if I was having a bad hair day and looked like I hadn't slept in a week. Besides, it's a picture of me being silly, and I've always been somewhat silly.
