My passport, complete with tourist visa, is on its way home again. And the BI travel clinic finally has its act together, so I have an appointment next week. (Now where the heck are my vaccination records? I had them for grad school admission, but I can't remember whether my GP has them, or whether I do.)

So, in more or less chronological order, between now and the last week in March:

- Call GP for referral to travel clinic AND for vaccination records
- Figure out what sort of carry-on bag is required, based on what will be in it
- Decide whether a new camera is really necessary, or whether the elderly one will do
- If a new camera is necessary, obtain it
- Figure out what to do about plug converters/voltage converters for iPod chargers
- Figure out the arrangements for the Hairy Beasts
- Write a letter for the vet in case somebody has to go there without me
- Clean the living daylights out of the place if anybody will be staying in it
- Start packing

I must have missed that you are going to India

I am also *probably* being sent for work...time yet to be firmed up, but probably in March - Bangalore. Where are you going, and why?

I'm off to Delhi/Jaipur/Agra for ten days. Mostly I'm going because I haven't been there yet, but also partly because I'm a Kipling fan, and northern India was Kipling's India.
