The steak was lovely, and I decided that since I had never had a souffle before, I was having a lemon one for dessert. That was lovely too.

There's leftover steak and mushrooms for dinner tonight, besides.

It's Friday, and my 4:30 - 5:30 meeting was canceled first thing this morning.

The sun has reappeared, and is throwing leaf shadows all over the blinds.

I have reached the bottom of every pile on my desk and stayed there since yesterday morning.

One of my coworkers was going to the post office and asked if I needed anything there, so now I can stop remembering that I need to buy stamps.

Next month I'll have enough money to pay off a third of my student loan balance.

A MS Access query I was writing gave me the results I wanted even though I didn't write it properly.

The new battery has rejuvenated my laptop, so I won't need a new laptop for a while yet.

A new version of Doodle God showed up right when I was getting bored with the existing version.

Life, in short, is good.

All in all, that sounds like a rather perfect end to your week.

Seeing as how I've been sick most of the week so the little boy has gotten very little mom time, Caleb and I are due to spend some quality time together tomorrow and I don't have a specific plan as to HOW we're going to spend that time. We'll likely be car-less since Matt has to go run a bunch of errands. Any interest in maybe meeting up?

Okay, call the house when you get this email. We're up already and knocking around. Maybe since it looks like rain, we should go to the Aquarium. We've got a family membership that'd get all of us in for free.
