Highlights of the weekend, in no particular order:

-An unexpected trip to Trader Joe's (hooray, UFOs!)
-A semi-expected trip to the West Side Market
-Said trip to the West Side Market resulting in my discovering I don't like persimmons all that much
-Several games of Scrabble, two of which I actually won
-Lessons in making nut rolls (YUM)
-Getting a cubic blortload of work done
-A very nice Cleveland Symphony Orchestra concert
-Meeting a couple of very nice cats
-Bread and butter and grated radish (no, really, it's good stuff!)

Now I have to send off all that work I got done. The editing project isn't done yet, because I got the translation as WordPerfect files, which of course meant I had to spend ages re-formatting things. Halfway through that it occurred to me that what I really wanted to do was format both the translation and the original, bring them back here and run them through WinAlign, which will take about five minutes to tell me if anything's missing.

I also got the draft of my final project for my composition class done, and I have to ship that off by e-mail.

I still need to find parallel texts for last week's translation and this week's translation, but that won't take too long.
