The graduation dinner madness is over until February! Yay!

All in all it went pretty well, except for the weather, over which I had no control at all. I still don't like the whole planning and eight zillion last-minute changes and such rigmarole, but for the first time ever, the graduates acknowledged me in addition to acknowledging the dental assistants. That was nice, and I sent them email and said so.

So here it is, Friday, and I'm very much looking forward to being able to sleep tomorrow morning. Providing I can, that is; I've been waking up at 6:30 or so lately. Sometimes because the sun is shining in my eyes, but I can't say I mind that as much as I mind waking up at 6:30 for no reason at all.

No caffeine for two weeks now. I keep thinking I want coffee, but that's mostly because iced coffee would be nice in this weather. Besides which, OJ is good for you, but it tastes funny on top of toothpaste, which is not a problem coffee has.

Actually, I lie. I don't know if Thai iced tea has caffeine in it, and I had one of those this week. Which I shouldn't have had, because it probably has more cream in it than I would put in coffee if I had that. (If we had some ham, we could have some ham and eggs, if we had some eggs...)

I have to think about what I want to do about my birthday. The problem is, it's too close to the 4th. So far I want to go out for tapas, and since Mom and Dad want to do something about it too, I should probably go visit them sometime soon. If I had a car I would be doing a lot of driving around visiting people lately. I think I'm getting less antisocial (about bloody time, too).

Whee, time to get back to work. I'll put money on the fact that the Very Important Phone Call I was supposed to answer came in while I was downstairs getting a sandwich. Any takers?
