I hope it stops snowing sometime before I leave work. I suspect I'm not going climbing tonight if it's still snowing at 4:30.

I don't know what it is about Tuesdays, but since about last spring, Tuesdays have sucked. The rest of the week can be good, bad or normal, but Tuesdays always suck.

The kittens like hairbrushes. All I have to do to attract the attention of at least one kitten is to start brushing my hair. I don't know if they like the noise, or what, but every time I brush my hair, I have at least one kitten sitting on the bed playing with the ends of my hair and trying to catch the brush. I've offered them the brush to see what they'd do with it, and they wrap themselves around it and chew on it. They chew on their own brush, too.

I would love to get out of Boston for a weekend. Not being able to drive, however, limits my options a bit, and not being able to afford train tickets to much of anywhere limits them even more. I suppose I could go visit my relatives in Franklin, except that one house has three kids under 15 (who are not conducive to relaxation) and the other has a dog I don't like. (It's a Shih Tzu, and it's spoiled rotten. Usually it takes a lot for me not to like a dog, but I disliked this one from the instant I met it.)

It seems not to be snowing any more. In fact, the sun is out. That's nice.

I wonder how many books I read in a year? If there was a library I could get to on a regular basis, I'd probably read more new stuff, instead of re-reading stuff I already own for the fifth or sixth time.

Tomorrow I think I'll go out for lunch. I haven't been out for lunch in ages.

I really must remember to get my laundry out of the dryer. It's been sitting there since Sunday.

A lot of a bad day can be dispelled by coming home and having a kitten curl up on you and purr so loud you have to turn the TV up to hear it.
