Jul. 28th, 2003 10:21 amWhen I was in college, I saw a bumper sticker that said "I have so much to do that I am going to bed". I'm about at that point. I have so much to do that I want to ignore all of it and lie around in the living room watching movies.
We now have a truck reserved, and a place in Ohio to return it to. Thank goodness. It also turned out to be about $150 less expensive than we thought it would be, which is nice. I've started packing books, which is somewhat odd because instead of throwing them in boxes straight off the shelves, I'm packing two sets of boxes. One is the set that will be in storage if it turns out I don't have space for them, and the other is the set that I refuse to go without for two years.
Looking at my book collection, I've realized that a lot of the stuff I refuse to live without is rare/out of print/hard to find, and most of the rare/out of print/hard to find stuff is humorous.
Today, so far, I have:
-Come up with phone numbers for more apartment complexes
-Looked up the commuter rail schedule to meet my parents in Franklin on Friday, and looked up the bus schedule to get back to Boston from Falmouth on Sunday
-Discovered I have absolutely no cash on me anywhere, due to being in a hurry this morning and forgetting to put any money in my pockets
Want coffee. Even though I've been drinking decaf lately, I still want it for the comfort factor. (Scary. When did coffee become comfort food?)
Off to call apartment complexes. Whee! At least it's not my own personal phone bill, and the calls are toll-free anyway.
