I hate forgetting things.

This morning I met with my Practice of Translation prof and we went over the first draft I turned in last Thursday. She says the draft only needs minor work. Thank goodness. Unfortunately I managed to forget I had to go to work at 2:15 until I was most of the way home, so I came in, inhaled a sandwich (whatever did I do before I discovered potato bread?), put my hair up (which is more of a chore when it's shorter, because it has more random ends in random places), and am now sitting here trying to figure out whether I can get the dishes done in the next half hour and whether I should spend a lot of money making copies of articles to read over Thanksgiving.

I also shouldn't forget about the book I have to take back to the library.

The e-mail I got by virtue of being a grad student said that classes start again on January 12. If that's true, it means I miss Arisia entirely. Who knows, by then I might have a job and wouldn't be able to leave Kent anyway. Too much to think about for now, what with the rest of this week being the way it is. Sigh.

Sometimes I wonder if giving up coffee was really such a good idea.

84 on my Theory of Translation paper. Yeeha! I won another half point for it, because I pointed out that if the examples I used hadn't been my own invention, I would have cited them. I've never plagiarized and I'm not about to start.

Anyway, yeeha!
