Dec. 3rd, 2003 09:56 amWhatever I did to my knee undid itself yesterday. I was walking to the grocery store, and suddenly took a really painful step, and the step after that didn't hurt at all. I guess whatever was out of place put itself back. Today I'm fine.
Last night we had an open forum in our theory class. Four professional translators came in and answered questions. Translation is just like any other freelance business; no benefits and occasional dead spots. I think it scared us all a little.
Shock of shocks, though, we're sitting there listening to good advice, and in walks a pizza delivery man. Dr. Wakabayashi bought us all pizza since it was the last class. The people who had already had dinner were somewhat dismayed. Since I wasn't one of those people, I was perfectly happy to sit there and eat pizza and listen to good advice.
It snowed about two or three flakes per minute all day yesterday. Today the sun is trying to come out, but it isn't quite succeeding. I'm not quite succeeding in getting anything useful done, either. I really should stop blathering on and go fix some more things in my translation practice final project, which is due tomorrow.
