It's snowing. It's been snowing since last night, and this time it's actually sticking. I think there's about an inch on the ground now. I wonder whether I'm responsible for shoveling off the walkway, or whether the management office takes care of that? In any case, you all in Boston are going to get this weather soon, so be warned, it's gonna snow.

Add to the academic list the translation exercise I completely forgot about, but subtract the meeting about and revisions of the knowledge organization paper. I think I'll go type up the translation exercise now and get it off my mind and off the list.

Good things:

I went to the Modern and Classical Languages department holiday party, which was all sorts of fun.
I got mail that says I passed the civil service exam.
I'm mostly done with the translation exercises I forgot about until yesterday.
It's very pretty out, what with the snow coming down and all.

Not-so-good things:

What with the snow coming down and all, I'm probably not going to the gospel concert tonight.
I can't find one set of the books on tape I got from the public library, and I'm afraid it got left in Noank or in the car.
I get to hurry up and wait to see if I actually get a job out of this civil service exam runaround.
The bits of the translation exercises I haven't done are the bits I can't remember. I did a sight translation in class last night and forgot to write down a couple of things.

Back to working, now that I've been to the holiday party and back and the public library and back.
