Jan. 5th, 2004 05:02 pmSo here I am, back in Kent. While it was nice to see people, and I'm sorry I didn't get to see some of the people I wanted to, I'm glad to be back in my own place again. I've lived out of my duffel bag for three weeks now and I'm ready to sleep in my own bed again.
This week, starting tomorrow, I have to run a mess of errands. I hope it doesn't snow all week. Classes start again next Monday.
Coolest random thing ever: I was given a Borders gift card for Christmas and went there to see about buying music. They didn't have what I was looking for, but in the process of looking for it, I ran across a CD called "Songs of the Pogo", which was a record from the 1950s and is a tie-in to my favorite old comic strip. Pogo stuff is about as rare as hen's teeth and therefore usually expensive, so I of course bought the CD.
I should go unpack far enough to figure out how much laundry I have to do this week. The instant answer is "lots", but I'd like to know how many loads are in a "lots".
Happy New Year, by the way.
