It's bloody freezing cold out. Having dealt with the laundry and the grocery shopping, I am not going outside any more today unless the place catches fire or something.
I've started working on Garden Verses, and I finally figured out why my inherited DVD player wouldn't work before (idiocy on my part). Now it works as well as it's expected to, meaning it starts stuttering about fifteen minutes into any given movie and the stuttering gets progressively worse until the movie stops completely about ten minutes later. I wonder if it's worth seeing about getting it repaired, or whether I should just wait until my birthday and actually buy a new one. That, of course, depends on whether there's anywhere in Kent that repairs electronics in the first place...
If I'm really on top of things, I'll spend some time before Monday working on the archaeological dig that will be required to find three of my four chairs and the top of my kitchen counter again. I tend to put things in chairs when I don't feel like putting them away, and the counter seems to be where I put things that really should have homes, but don't because the available homes for them are in cabinets I'm too short to reach.
It seems to be snowing. That must mean it warmed up a little, because the weather I was out in was definitely too cold for snow.
