(no subject)

I'm restless today for some reason. Probably cabin fever, since it's snowing again. I wish we could go back to the weather we had last Friday, when it was warm enough to melt the ice even if the sun never actually came out. Then it snowed on Saturday and there's no more bare grass anywhere.

My headphones have gone missing. They either fell out of my bag somewhere (which I don't think is terribly likely), or I did something intelligent with them and can't remember what it was. I've looked everywhere I can think of, and the last time I clearly remember having them was two weeks or so ago. Grr. Granted they're only headphones, not anything irreplaceable, but they were the only pair I had, so now I can't take music with me anywhere until I replace them. I'm getting thoroughly sick of losing things, because I keep having to spend money to replace them. The fact that I happen to have the money right now doesn't help much because I have no income, so I can't go around spending what I've got on replacing things I was stupid enough to lose. The two jobs I applied for got filled, and I never even got a letter that acknowledged they got my applications (I know they did because I dropped them off myself). ARGH.

Why do I have to do EVERYTHING the hard way, whether I want to or not?
