June, already?
Jun. 1st, 2004 01:53 pmAfter being cold, grey and intermittently raining all day yesterday, it's gorgeous here today. If I had an office job, I would be swearing about it. As I don't have any sort of job at all, I'm enjoying the weather.
I wish I could figure out why I keep waking up at 4:00 in the morning. I can usually get back to sleep again without too much hassle, but waking up before I'm ready to isn't usually something I do. Maybe I need to tire myself out again.
Speaking of tiring myself out, I really shouldn't buy milk and mangoes at the same time if I have to carry them home. Mangoes are heavier than I thought, and a gallon of milk weighs at least 8 lb. (which isn't that much weight until you put it in a plastic grocery bag and hang it off your hand and try to walk any distance with it). If milk keeps being as expensive as it is these days, I may have to buy it every other week. Why can't junk food get expensive instead? (Why do I ask stupid questions like that?)
My brain keeps insisting on wandering off, so I think I'll let it.
