I've given up on the .ram file. I'll keep it around just in case somebody eventually decides to write a converter for it, though.

This morning I got up in order not to be in the shower when the health inspector came through. All he wanted to know was whether the smoke detector works (it does) and whether I've got running water in both sinks (I do). Hopefully between that and the fire extinguisher inspection last month, I can now stop presenting bits of my apartment for inspections for at least six months.

It's so humid out that it actually rained for about five minutes despite the fact that the sun is out. That's an impressive amount of water to be hanging around in the air. It's not really that hot out, but the air is like a wet blanket. Therefore, I have absolutely no desire to go anywhere further than up to the mailbox. Grocery shopping can wait until tomorrow, and laundry can wait for another couple of days.

It might be nap time, in fact. I managed to stay up later than I wanted to again last night.
