gremlins, or absentmindedness?
Jul. 28th, 2004 11:37 amI'm generally good at not losing CDs and books and things of that nature. Therefore, it drives me absolutely insane when I can't find something I know damn well I had the last time I wanted it. This particular fit of frustration is brought to you by my missing Carmina Burana CD. Not only is it missing, but because I keep my CDs in sleeves instead of in cases, something else is missing along with it, and I can't figure out what that something is. I think it might be Fanfare for the Common Man, and if that's what it is, I'm going to be even more put out because I'm going to want to replace both CDs if they're gone forever.
This whole situation wouldn't be so aggravating if I hadn't had bits of Carmina Burana parading through my head for the last couple of days. I've looked in all the obvious places, and I'm running out of non-obvious places to look.
Somebody besides me is gonna rue this here particular day if I can't find the CDs.
[EDIT]: Found them (thank goodness). Today's project is to go through the whole collection and figure out how to be able to find things when I want them.
