Sep. 17th, 2004 11:53 amThe remnants of Ivan are here, and I put my bonsai tree out on the front stoop again to water it. Since it's a juniper, it claims to be an outdoor tree, so leaving it outdoors all day shouldn't hurt it.
Last night most of the French translation students, including me, went to see Fog of War. Since it was a KSU independent film club showing, it of course had problems about five times (no focus, no sound, gaps between reels, etc. The funniest one was when the film stopped for some reason or other and I heard a very distinct ARGH from the booth).

I had a terrible time trying to stay asleep last night. I kept waking up because I was too hot, but it wasn't that it was hot out, it was that it was humid. If I tried to sleep on top of the covers, I got cold, and if I got under them, I got too hot. Somewhere around 4 AM it finally decided to be cool enough to keep me under the covers for good and I slept a lot later than I meant to. I'm not sure my brain is really up yet, either. I keep having covetous thoughts about coffee. I could do something about that. Hmm....
