I found where the fridge was leaking from, because I caught it in the act. The vent between the fridge compartment and the freezer compartment has a sort of shelf in it, and that shelf is entirely covered with ice. I guess it melted some, and has been dripping down into the covering over the vent, and freezing again. There was a solid quarter inch of ice in the bottom of the vent covering, between the covering and the styrofoam block that's in there, and there's still ice on the shelf in the vent because it's impossible to get that off without taking the entire fridge apart. I melted some of it by virtue of feeling around in there trying to figure out what was up, but there's no way to get a sponge up there.

Even if I haven't fixed it, at least now I know what the story is, so I feel fairly well vindicated.

almost painless

The project management meeting only took an hour and a half. We're at the point where without feedback from the last project, we're blundering around in the dark with dying flashlights, trying to find the fuse box.

It was absolutely gorgeous out today; I wanted to have the meeting outside, but I got outvoted. Oh well. At least I've had the windows open all day. I wonder if I can get away with leaving the bedroom window open tonight? If the weather would only do what it did today for two or three more days, I'd be a very happy camper.

The fridge has quit leaking. It's bone dry everywhere except the crisper drawer, and that's because I didn't empty it, being a combination of lazy and needing to be somewhere else at the time. I'm not all that mechanically inclined, so the fact that I was able to fix this makes me proud of myself.
