I had a very strange dream last night involving Oberlin, Noank, a flood, several oil paintings, an overflowing voicemail box, and a project management meeting. I remember feeling vaguely annoyed about the flood keeping me from getting to the meeting, but I don't know what any of the rest of it had to do with anything. It was a very intensely colored dream, though. (I read somewhere that most people dream in black and white. That seems odd to me because I've always dreamed in color, except once when I dreamed in newspaper headlines.)
Where's a mechanical engineer when I want one? I'm trying to pass off "shearing surface" as a legitimate term when talking about electric pruning shears, but I haven't quite found it in the right context yet. Supposedly after we get through the employment contract we're translating this week, we get to go into translating ads and other marketing stuff, which is theoretically easier. (That depends on who you're translating for, though.)
I wonder why I'm tired all of a sudden?
