reassurances

My e-mail does, in fact, work, and now I know roughly when the apartment information will show up here. My diploma should be showing up sometime in the next two weeks, too.

I also got a confirmation notice from the ATA, stating that I am in fact qualified to take the certification exam. The combination of the fact that it came from somebody named Pinky and the fact that the ATA uses first names as usernames, so I got a confirmation notice from pinky@atanet, made me wonder for a minute if I hadn't gotten some very odd spam.

It finally seems to have decided to rain. That's nice of it.

It is absolutely gorgeous out. By which I mean overcast, windy, 85 and raining a little. The wind makes all the difference, because it doesn't feel 85. I think I'll go walking in the rain.

I'm not quite muttering imprecations at the post office yet, but why did they think I actually wanted three different loan consolidation offers from three different places? I know it's illegal for a mailman not to deliver mail, but I swear, the post office could save me some time if they would throw this stuff out for me instead of making me go retrieve it from the mailbox, bring it indoors and drop it in the recycling bag. Then I have to take the recycling out too. Meanwhile I'm still waiting for the mail I actually want.

Right. I said I was going for a walk, didn't I?
