where is all this good karma coming from?

It looks like the first things I'm going to have to unpack next week are the interview clothes and the ironing board. Who knew not rushing out and buying a khaki skirt would come back and bite me in the ass so fast?

I have an interview with the Ecole Bilingue in Cambridge on July 5. They're looking for a receptionist, and two weeks ago I sent them a resume, not expecting to hear anything. This is a "pay the bills" kind of job, although they did tell me they might have me do some translation too.

My life lately is very odd. I would call it unbelievable if I were reading it as a novel, and if I get this job, I'm going to seriously owe my aunt. This is the same aunt who found me my apartment. How do you go about starting to pay somebody back for something that big?

I'm going to owe so many people dinner (at least) by the time I can afford to actually do something about it that I might as well throw a dinner party.
