Right, well, anyway...

All silliness aside, I now own a domain and have paid for hosting, and therefore have web space. I know what CSS does, and I know what raw HTML and XML look like, but I have no idea how to turn them into a web site that looks respectable, short of "find something you like the look of, and look at the source code". (My XML experience stopped at "this is what XML looks like. If you're translating it, leave everything in brackets alone." and my HTML experience stopped in 1997 at "This is a frame. See if you can get it to work properly." The correct answer was No, you can't.)

The problem with going to work tomorrow is figuring out what I'm going to do about lunch. When I thought I was going to be working in the same building as a big mahonkin grocery store, it was easy.

I would really love for this cough to go away. It has decidedly overstayed its welcome, and I hate walking around feeling like there's something stuck in my throat.

I should do a fairly large amount of cooking today. I should have cleaned out the fridge yesterday, but I thought I could do it today because of the holiday since the trash wouldn't get picked up until tomorrow. I was wrong, apparently; they came today anyway. So now I wait until Wednesday.

Believe it or not, everything I wrote after I stopped talking about HTML is a result of my wanting to call my parents and getting sidetracked by my voicemail. Fortunately my head is fairly firmly attached to my spine, so I might manage not to misplace it entirely.
