Sep. 22nd, 2005 05:50 pmWay back when Boston Market was called something else, they had a TV commercial that started with several waifish (or was that heroin-addict?) models standing around on a beach, trying to be deep and philosophical and talking about emptiness. "How can I fill this...emptiness?" At which point a guy in a suit stepped out from behind a rock and said, "It's not tricky; EAT SOMETHING!"
Exactly.
And that is why, upon arriving home after a day that felt like beating my head against a brick wall and didn't include eating any lunch, I am eating dinner before I go attempt to fix the shutter in my bedroom, which has come apart again. I've arrived at the point where, once I have the thing put back together, I don't care if I haven't got wood glue and clamps; I have super glue, and I'm damn well going to use that. So there.
Exactly.
