Right. This is why three-day weekends are a bad idea; it gives whoever I'm working for the chance to get ahead of me, while ignoring all the stuff from last week I still need answers for.
I did get one definite answer; I'm unemployed again as of Thursday, 10/20, unless somebody comes up with something. I was hoping I could stretch it out to the end of the week, but they say two people doing the same job won't fit in the available office space for four days. (They're probably right, but the money would be useful anyway.) And, the place in Cambridge the other agency came up with last week doesn't want to interview me at all. Sigh. Back to the drawing board.
Today my feet hurt, but that's because I walked downhill on wet brick in my new shoes this morning and I was trying not to slip and kill myself, so I was walking funny.
I wouldn't mind terribly if it wanted to stop threatening to rain. I'm more or less resigned to the fact that it won't get warmer any more, but the least the sky could do is stop spitting at me.
