In the spirit of attempting to get some exercise, I walked up to Trader Joe's. If anything's going to fall out of the sky before dark, it'll be rain, unless a serious cold front comes through.
Anyway, Trader Joe's was a mob scene, but I managed to get out with my person intact (mostly) and my shopping list accomplished. I decided, yesterday, that I'm going to change some things about how I'm eating and go back to being strict about what I'm eating. So I'm swearing off chocolate and soda again, and going back to drinking a lot of seltzer. (Which reminds me, next time I go to the regular grocery store, I have to take the bags back.)
The guy in the basement moved out, so the basement isn't locked any more, so I'm doing laundry. Someday I'll figure out where the light switch is down there; the obvious one doesn't work unless the other one's on, and I haven't found the other one. I bring a flashlight when I do laundry.
I should get the other half of yesterday's cleaning fit done, too. All that's left is the bathroom, the bedroom and the floors. Yesterday I dealt with the kitchen (except the fridge, because I thought today probably wouldn't be trash day), the table, the living room and the file boxes. I'm still not happy with the lack of arrangement I've got in the living room, but at least I wrestled it into submission for the moment.
I think the next order of business, in half an hour when the last load is done in the wash, is to put it in the dryer and go out and buy the garlic I completely forgot I was out of. Oops. (And take the bags back.)
