I'm taking the plunge, I think. I'm going to go on Saturday (if I can get an appointment) and get something short done with my hair. (Mostly because I can't stand it any more; if it wasn't being impossible, I'd wait until the weather gets warmer.) It needs professional help, and at least now it won't be such a shock to have it short. I've already lost most of the length anyway, and it's easier to dye when it's shorter.

I'm debating about the dye, too; I like the red, but I'm not sure how long I want to keep redoing it. I think eventually I'll get to the point where I give up, grow it out enough to tell what the natural color is, and go have somebody who knows what they're doing dye it back to the natural color. (I'm curious as to how grey I'm getting, since both of my parents were grey by 35.)

While I'm thinking about Brookline-based errands, DRY CLEANING! I've forgotten it at least three times aince last week. If I drop it off on Friday and pick it up on Saturday, I can give them all of my dress pants.

Hi ho, the glamorous life. Or, well, not. :)

Oh, by the way, can anybody tell me the name of the Depeche Mode song from their last CD that has a chorus about "things get damaged, things get broken..."? It's been stuck in my head for three days on and off.
