Memo to self: it takes at least half an hour to get to Coolidge Corner by bus on a weekend (I was slightly late for my haircut). If I hadn't been hanging around drinking coffee slowly, as is my wont on Saturday morning, I would've walked.

Other than that, though, today has mostly failed to suck. It was horrendous cold out, and I came home after my haircut very glad I'd brought my scarf. More of my neck is naked now than it was this morning. I'm not shaggy all over any more, though. Hooray!

My boss J called me while I was on the way to my haircut, just to make sure the stuff she sent off to be copied last night wasn't something I had already sent off somewhere else. It wasn't; I couldn't get it to the copiers before 4:30 yesterday, so it was going to have to wait until Tuesday anyhow.

I spent an hour or so this afternoon practicing trombone. I think I'm making progress, although it annoys me a bit when the airstream doesn't change, and my embouchure doesn't change, but the note drops anyway. I think I'll have to ask my teacher about that on Monday.

I keep forgetting I have my next lesson on Monday night, even though I don't have to go to work on Monday.

It smells like pizza in here, which it had better, because that's what I'm having for dinner. Some day I'll figure out exactly how much flour to put on the cookie sheet to keep the dough from gluing itself down. Last time I used too much, and got a mouthful of flour off the bottom of the crust (not pleasant). This time I think I didn't use enough, because I had to use a spatula to persuade it to let go. Maybe if I used cornmeal, I wouldn't have this problem, but that means I have to remember to buy cornmeal. (File under "brain like sieve".)

Tonight could be a timeless night. I'm in the mood for it.

ETA: Hot damn, that two-question enneagram meme nailed me, too (BY, four). I'm not going to post the whole nine yards here, though.
