Jun. 6th, 2006 12:00 pmFor once I came out of a computer training course with good ideas. I'd really like to be able to start posting SOP packets online in September. It will save us a zillion dollars in copies, for one thing, and it really isn't difficult to get a Word document in shape, convert it to a PDF, password-protect the PDF and post it on the Harvard intranet. I can do that if I get the right version of Acrobat and access to post things. I know there will be people who want the paper version, but that should be manageable.
The trombone is fun and all, but sometimes I wish I had always wanted to play something more portable (or less portable; if I played the piano, I wouldn't have to bring it on the bus).
Almost everything I have to do today is frustrating to some degree or other. That, however, is my problem, so I guess I had better go get some lunch and come back in a better frame of mind.
