I guess the word has gone out...

Apparently, it's dangerous to let J (my boss) know when my birthday is. Since I got in I've been presented with an iTunes gift certificate, an enormous bunch of bright orange gladiolas, and a card, and been informed that I'm being taken out to lunch.

I wish I had a camera here; the gladiolas are gorgeous!
