what day is it, again?
Aug. 26th, 2006 07:25 pmSaturday. I keep forgetting it's Saturday, and I don't have anything to do tomorrow except cooking.
Since I'm still on vacation, I took myself out to breakfast this morning. Since it was at Soundbites, it of course took me an hour to get there, so I had breakfast at 11:00. Oh well, it was good anyway, even if they did read a 2 on the check as a 7 (I straightened them out). Then I went home by way of Brookline Booksmith and Trader Joe's and scored, majorly, in the used book department; I got "Outrageously Pogo", which is out of print, for $7.50. At TJ's I bought groceries and a mess of roses, because the roses are beautiful. They're red on the insides and antique yellow on the outsides. Why they came in a batch of 19, I have no idea.
I think tonight is going to be a timeless night, if for no other reason than I had chai hanging around from last week and finished it with dinner, so I'll be up for a good while. And it's Saturday night, so I can do that if I want to.
