Sep. 9th, 2006 05:16 pmOw, dammit. My knees and calf muscles do not like it when I run uphill two stops to try to catch the bus I was on the diagonal-opposite corner from when it stopped at Roxbury Crossing. I couldn't catch it, of course, so I walked most of the way to Brookline Village before the next bus showed up.
At least I was only two minutes late for my haircut. And I managed to remember to go to Lady Grace while I was in Coolidge Corner anyway. Then I ended up taking a huge detour on the way home, due to the buses being ridiculous. I got on the train instead, and went down to Chinatown and disposed of my craving for pad thai. (Why is the Chinatown station going to Forest Hills closed? It's not between Oak Grove and Haymarket, which section of the Orange line is also closed.) So anyway, that's what I've been doing with my day. What I really should be doing is laundry, but I think I'll do that tomorrow. I have to figure out if I have enough quarters in the first place.
