Nov. 21st, 2006 02:46 pmI really wish I could get these idiotic SOP packets out of here. They're weighing on my mind, and since one set of packets weighs about five pounds and there are 45 sets, shuffling them around all morning weighed on my arms.
Unfortunately, the agenda has to go with them, and I have to get the agenda approved, and that means I have to wait until somebody can look at it, and everybody who can look at it is doing something else for the next 20 minutes before they go into a 2-hour meeting at 3:00. Oh, and the cover sheets for the committee chairs have to get approved too. At least I already did the list for the courier service and the address labels for the envelopes. Sometimes the amount of picky little things I have to remember to do in the process of sending all this stuff out amazes me.
I'm not really grumpy about the whole process, but it would be nice if it were over with, already.
DAMN! The only packet I didn't look at is missing page 77. Off to take the whole damn thing apart, again...
