I overdid it yesterday. I woke up at 7:30, and was lying in bed reading, and got bored and got up and showered and had coffee and puttered around, and then left to go have dim sum. By the time I got to Chinatown I was tired, and by the end of dim sum I wanted to curl up and go to sleep. I didn't; I went to Coolidge Corner and met up with H and then went to the Super 88 and bought all sorts of experimental canned goods (I've heard of loquats, but never had them) and we went back to Roxbury and watched the second DVD of the second volume of Pinky and the Brain. After which I left the TV on for background noise and did dishes and embroidered until bedtime.
Today I'm back to feeling like a bus hit me. In fact, I very nearly took the bus to work this morning, except I was on the wrong side of the intersection (as usual, lately, ARGH) and in no shape to run after it.
I'm sorely tempted to cancel my trombone lesson tonight, except that if I do that, I won't have another lesson until January 7.
Oh, and my bathtub is no longer orange. Clorox 2 is wonderful stuff, and next time I want to clean the grout in the shower, I'm going to try a bleach pen.
