I went for a massage tonight, because my left shoulder was giving me problems. Apparently a tendon had gotten somewhat displaced around the inside edge of my left shoulderblade. Having it put back again hurt a LOT, but now I can at least look all the way over that shoulder again, and J says my right shoulder isn't higher than the left one any more. And my left forearm and left hand have quit hurting.

I seem to have taken this week's prize for tight back muscles, to the point where J couldn't get them all loose in an hour even with the wintergreen-and-cayenne oil, so I have to go back next week and have them worked on some more. (Hopefully the ones that got loosened tonight will have learned their lesson and we won't have to start all over again. That hurt quite a bit too.)

Rhetorical question: Why couldn't I have learned to carry tension in my lower back, like everybody else?
