Apparently I'm a dermatological freak of nature. As long as my skin is in one piece, it doesn't require "sensitive skin" stuff. Get it tattooed, though, and it suddenly doesn't like a whole host of things you're supposed to be able to put on healing tattoos. A&D ointment burns and most body lotion stings, even the stuff for sensitive skin. Tattoo Goo works very nicely, but my leftover supply from last time is aged, ancient, venerable, and doesn't look quite right. I could order some online, but I can't really wait for it, so I went looking for it locally.

No dice; the only place anybody knows of that has it is in Plymouth. Tattoo Goo is mostly beeswax, olive oil and lavender, with various other herbs, so I started looking for something that had most of the same ingredients and not much extra stuff in it. As close as I could get was Burt's Bees hand salve, which is mostly beeswax, almond oil and rosemary. That stuff ain't cheap, but it works. My arm is much happier.
